Client Testimonials

Have been going to see him since he was in Kapahulu at a different location. This location is so serene and pleasant to go to and there is barely any noise. The Professional Building has great parking and tenants seems to be quiet. Every time I go I have a number of issues for him to work on and he does his best to listen to all my complaining! I always leave there relaxed and feeling better. Acupuncture is so great and I feel so much better each time I do have a session. I used to go less but now I will try to visit once a month and keep up with ailments. It's like going to the dr but without being prescribed all the medicines that have side effects. The problems usually go away immediately or slowly depending on what they are. Its a nice and peaceful office with two rooms with ac. You have peaceful music playing in the background to lull you into a light sleep sometimes or just in your moment for that period of time on the table. It's excellent me time, always!!

Owner and Acupuncturist

Even though Hawaii has become home for me, I’m originally from New York and spent the first half of my life on the east coast. I was exposed to alternative medicine as a high-schooler tagging alongside my dad early Friday mornings to go see Dr. Nogrady, an energetic and compassionate man who still practices chiropractic medicine. Over 20 years later my dad and mom are under his care. This was my first taste of empowering my body to do all of the amazing things it’s capable of.

It would be some time before I took an interest in acupuncture, but the stage was already set. I knew I wanted to work with people and I knew I could be of help. I graduated with a psychology degree with the knowledge that I had always been a good listener and since I was always interested in people I was always fascinated by what made people tick. It turns out those 2 things are particularly necessary in helping people through problems, both physically and emotionally.

I took several years and moved away from the east coast out to the west coast and eventually to Hawaii in 2006. I started attending acupuncture college in 2008 and knew this would be at least part of my life’s work. It would allow me to work with the body and mind at once. After graduating in 2012 from the Institute of Clinical Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine I traveled around the island giving acupuncture to friends first and some clientele I had gained a rapport with in my internship days at school. After a year I started working at a community clinic in the Kaimuki area called Kama’aina Acupuncture, owned by Joe Bright who would become a mentor and friend. The high volume and faster pace there allowed me to learn and adapt quickly to better help people. I worked there for 8 years and gained invaluable experience.

In February of 2020 I decided to branch off on my own and run my own private practice. The journey so far has been a highly rewarding and insightful process. I am able to delve a bit deeper into people’s lives and issues while at the same time being able to quickly address short term issues. Helping people is my passion and acupuncture is one way for me to do that. The opportunity to help people isn’t one I take for granted.
